“Mega Panther” company was established on 2007. As of 2008 the company starts the installment of the payment acceptance terminals and the process of the payment acceptance.
“Mega Panther” company spreads its activity in Armenian market under “MegaPay” trade mark (“MegaPay” online payment system). “MegaPay” online payment system gives the possibility to make payments in favor of more than 20 Armenian and CIS operators providing such services: Mobile & Fix telephony, Payments for utility services, Satellite and cable TV, Bookmaker services, Internet, IP-telephony, Payment Systems, Mobile numbers sale trough payment terminals, Banking services. The quantity and kind of providing services increases daily.
Currently, the company has already installed 350 payment acceptance terminals, 61 payment reception points in banks and in the customer care offices of the service providing companies. The payment acceptance terminals and points are distributed in Yerevan and big cities of the Republic (Gyumri, Maralik, Artik, Talin, Ashtarak, Aparan, Spitak, Vanadzor, Alaverdi, Noyemberyan, Idjevan, Dilidzan, Armavir, Vagharshapat, Ararat, Masis, Vedi, Artashat, Sisian, Goris, Eghegnadzor, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Charentsavan, Tsakhadzor, Sevan, Gavar, Martuni) and in the big villages.
From 2009 the company starts to cooperate with the banks and already 7 banks from 22 banks located in Armenia receives the payments through “MegaPay” online payment system (Artsakh bank, Anelik bank, Armenian Development bank, ProCredit bank, Prometey Bank, BTA bank, Inecobank).
At present, the payment acceptance system of “MegaPay” operates in the customer care offices of “Orange Armenia”. In 2010 it is foreseen to increase the quantity of payment acceptance points in “Orange Armenia” and in the customer care offices of «ArmenTel».
All payments through «MegaPay» online payment system implements without commission – 0%, it means the entire sum paid by the customer wholly is being transferred to customer’s account.
