Established in 1995.

License N67 of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.

The bank started its activity in 1996 as “Midland Armenia Bank” JSC. In 1998 it was renamed into “HSBC Bank Armenia” CJSC. The co-founders of the bank are the HSBC Group – 70%, and the investors representing the Armenian Diaspora.

The bank is the member of SWIFT and Bankmail payment systems.

The bank has 7 branches in Yerevan (66 Teryan St., 3 Komitas St., 9 Vazgen Sargsyan Street, 31a Tigran Mets Avenue, 1 Nersisyan Street, 14 Bagratunyats, 19/10 Gayi Ave.).

As of 30 June 2010, the bank serves 37,266 individuals and 4,982 legal entities.

As of 30 April 2010, the bank has 366 employees.

As of 30 June 2010, the total capital of the bank made AMD 18 813 300 thousand, the assets – AMD 126 716 021 thousand, the liabilities – AMD 107 902 721 thousand.
